Digicel Fiji 7s Coach Iliesa Tanivula said that though Fiji has an experienced and good team on paper, the hard work left is for the boys to apply what they have learnt over the last few months.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Tanivula said that the weather in Dubai and George is similar to the one experienced here in Fiji and the boys should adapt to that.
However, Tanivula said that irrespective of whom the boys have worked with and how experienced they are most important will be how they will deliver during the tournament.
The Digicel Fiji 7s team left Fiji yesterday to partake in a 7s tournament in Sri Lanka before heading to their first outing in Dubai and George.
Fiji head Pool B in the Dubai 7s with Samoa, Scotland and Zimbabwe, defending champions South Africa lead Pool A with Australia, Wales and the Arabian Gulf, England head Pool C with Kenya, USA and Russia and New Zealand head Pool D with Argentina, Portugal and France.
The Dubai 7s kicks off next Friday on December 4th.
