In an effort to thank the lord for his blessings throughout the year, the Veilomani Boys Home and Rehabilitation Centre in Namosau Ba is organising its Open Day Celebrations with Thanksgiving Day.
The Superintendent Reverend Sarwesh Singh said the four day celebration starts from today at 6pm with a Church Service and the Boys will get to also meet with the Fiji National Sevens Team.
He said tomorrow will be a day when the boys will showcase and sell the products made by them.
Reverend Singh said they hope to raise $20,000 during the four day event.
The Veilomani Boys Home and Rehabilitation Centre which was established in 1975 has a total of 12 people in residence aging from 5 years to 35 years.
The children and adults have nowhere to go to and come from broken families.
