An 18 year old boy has been admitted to the CWM hospital after sustaining serious injuries in an accident yesterday afternoon.
The boy was trying to board a moving truck in Navua yesterday afternoon when he slipped.
Police said both of the boy’s legs got crushed under the tires.
The boy is expected to go under surgery as he received multiple fractures in his legs.
Police are reminding members of the public not to board moving vehicles as they can seriously injure themselves.
