With 9 gold medals up for grabs in Boxing at this year’s Pacific Games, the Fiji Boxing team will only be competing for 3 gold medals.
Coach Pauliasi Ratu says they will only be sending three boxers to the Pacific Games due to lack of funds and short notice.
Ratu says the team includes Viliame Vutikalulu who is fighting in the 91kg category, Sina Ruata in the 89kg, and Winston Hill in the 69kg category.
In the last Pacific Games the boxing team only managed to win a silver medal.
The Pacific Games will start next Saturday.
