It was a packed out National Fitness Centre last night as people witnessed 12 outstanding amateur fights.

Experienced Josefa Ravudi Jnr. the son of former national boxer Joe Ravudi had to dig deep against Winston Hill of the USP boxing club to win in a unanimous point decision in the Middle Weight Clash.

Hill in only his third fight almost turned the tables against Ravudi but the experience of Ravudi saw him win the fight.

In two other outstanding bouts of the night, Super Heavy Weight boxer Joseph Brown avenged his earlier defeat to Saverio Varasiko on a split points decision.

In another Super Heavy Weight fight, former Marist Brothers High School student Stanley Whippy in his first career fight beat experienced Jone Veitata on a unanimous points decision.
