A Night Club Bouncer is in police custody for throwing an empty beer bottle at a Police Officer.
DPC Eastern, SP Emosi Baleinuku confirms the incident took place around 1.30 this morning, while the Police officers were trying to close the night club.
The bouncer threw a bottle at one of the Police Officers which resulted in the cop having head injuries.
The Bouncer will appear in Nausori Court tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile, SP Baleinuku has warned the Public to respect the Law and assist the police in maintaining law and order as the Police officers are not there to be attacked.
He said matters as such, will not be taken lightly.
