It's the strong bond between the teachers and students of Suva Grammar School over the years that has enabled the school to achieve so much.
These are the sentiments of Lesley Chatwin who was a teacher at Suva Grammar during the 1960's and is one of the three teachers here for the 50th Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
Chatwin who was the physical education teacher from 1967 to 1973 says teaching at the school was an enjoyable experience.
Meanwhile 60's decade student Eileen Jack said it was a pleasant surprise to meet up with Chatwin who was her teacher.
The Suva Grammar School 50th Golden Jubilee Celebrations continues this week, with various events held during the day and evenings.
