Usain Bolt’s dream of winning an unprecedented ‘treble treble’ is still alive after he won the 200m gold earlier today.

This was Bolt’s eighth gold medal at the Olympics.

Bolt won the race in a time of 19.78 seconds ahead of Canada’s Andre De Grasse.

Bolt won the 100m gold on Monday and will be running in the 4x100m final at 1.35pm tomorrow.

Bolt had already won the treble of medals at the Beijing and London Olympics.

The women’s 4x100m final will also be tomorrow at 1.15pm.

Looking at the medal tally USA continues to lead with 35 gold, 33 silver and 32 bronze, Great Britain is in second place 22 gold, 21 silver and 13 bronze while China is in third place with 20 gold, 16 silver and 22 bronze.

The closing ceremony is on Monday at 11am.
