The World’s fastest man, Usain Bolt has become the first athlete to win the 100m gold medal three times at the Olympic.
Bolt won the race ahead of rival, USA’s Justin Gatlin with a time of 9.81 seconds.
Gatlin had a better start but Bolt pulled through in the last forty metres to enter the history books.
Bolt is aiming to become the first athlete to win three gold medals three times in the 100, 200 and 4x100m.
Meanwhile, looking at the medal tally, USA are still in first place with 26 gold, 21 silver and 22 bronze, Great Britain is in second with 15 gold, 16 silver and 7 bronze while China is in third place with 15 gold, 13 silver and 17 bronze .
