National soccer team midfielder, Pita Bolaitoga will miss Fiji's first three pool matches in the Pacific games.

Bolaitoga was stopped at Nadi Airport on Wednesday due to some pending maintenance matter however he has been cleared to travel New Caledonia.

National soccer team Director, Anil Sharma said there are no seats available to send Bolaitoga and he will be in New Caledonia before the last pool match against Papua New Guinea.

Fiji will play Tahiti in the first match tomorrow at 4pm.
