Fiji’s top rugby referee James Bolabiu will achieve another milestone in his career when he officiates at the Rugby World Cup 7s in June.
Out of the 10 referees announced by the IRB yesterday, Bolabiu is the only one to have officiated in the last World Cup 7s in Dubai four years ago.
Bolabiu said he cannot wait to be in Moscow and it will be a good Mother’s Day gift for his mom.
Meanwhile, Kuini Vuli will also officiate in the women’s competition in Russia as an assistant referee.
The rugby World Cup 7s will be held from the 28th to the 30th of June.
