Fiji's number 1 rugby referee James Bolabiu's name will go down in the history books after he was appointed to officiate in the Tri-Nations series.

Bolabiu, who is currently in Cardiff Wales, officiating at the Junior Rugby World Cup confirms that he got the promotion yesterday with confirmation that he will be an Assistant Referee when the All Blacks play the Wallabies on 26th July in Sydney and also on 2nd August in Auckland.

Bolabiu said his dream of officiating in the Tri-Nations series has come true.

Bolabiu was also appointed to referee the Samoa and Japan match in the IRB Pacific Nations Cup on July 5th but that has been changed now and he will now referee the biggest game of his career, which is the last match in the Pacific Nations Cup between New Zealand Maori and Australia A in Sydney on July 6th.
