The selection of some of the overseas based back-line players in the Flying Fijian 15's rugby for the Europe tour remains unclear whether they were picked on current form or on reputation.

That is how IRB coaches educator, Frank Boivert see some of the overseas players who have been named in the 30 member squad for next month’s Test matches.

Boivert who has agreed with coach Samu Domoni in naming a experience forward pack said that some players been selected in the back-line have not played well in their recent games for their club.

He added that players like Saula Radidi, Vereniki Goneva and Ropate Ratu's inclusion in the team has caught him by surprise as these players play in the second division club in France and most of the time do not play in the position they have been picked by the national selectors.

Fiji's opening game is against France on the 14th of next month.
