The body of a man has been found in the Nadi River.
Police confirm this is the man that was allegedly assaulted and then thrown into the Nadi River by four youths on Saturday morning.
Police say the body was found at 8 this morning with visible bruises on it adding it has been taken to the Nadi mortuary.
The four youths allegedly responsible are still in custody and are being interrogated.
A bystander who witnessed the alleged incident informed Nadi Police who later managed to apprehend the four youths.
