Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 66 year old man whose body was found floating in the Wainikoro river yesterday afternoon.
Divisional Crime Officer Northern, ASP Luke Rawalai has confirmed that the man went missing from his home two days ago and neighbours found his body in the river yesterday.
Police have not ruled out foul play as yet.
A post mortem will be conducted this morning.
