The body of a 22 year old man was found along Nadi Back road yesterday and Police believe the deceased was a passenger in a vehicle which veered off the road at Nadi back road on Saturday night.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita said the driver of the vehicle allegedly fled the scene after the accident leaving the deceased behind.
When Police officers went to the scene, they found the deceased lying a few meters away from the vehicle.
Police Officers are now hunting for the driver.
Sergeant Tevita said they believe the two were drinking and during the time of the accident after returning from a party.
The post mortem of the deceased will be carried out today.
