Residents of a village in Monasavu have recovered the body of a man yesterday in Wailoa River, however it has not been confirmed if the body is that of the 19-year-old boy who went missing during the recent floods.

Deputy Director Operations SP Erami Raibe confirmed villagers from Monasavu spotted the body floating in the river while Police Officers are expected to identify the body today.

Another person who went missing in the floods returned home safely yesterday afternoon.

Uliasi Nakila of Nawaka, Nadi was taking shelter at a relative's place after he got stuck in the floods.

Meanwhile, apart from the 19-year-old boy from Monasavu, a 16-year-old girl from Malagi, Wainibuka and a 35-year-old woman from Nasivi Vatukoula are still missing and Police are seeking help from the general public in locating them.
