Nasinu Police are awaiting the post mortem results on the body that was found in a creek in Narere on Monday before any further investigations are carried out.
According to Police Spokesperson, Atu Sokomuri, the corpse which was found in the creek behind a timber yard, is decomposed and they cannot tell whether it is a body of a male or female.
Sokomuri also added the body appears to have been in the creek for the past ten days and Police will have to determine the gender of the corpse before they start looking at any reports of a missing person for the last two weeks.
Police are calling on members of the public to come forward if any members of their family have been missing for the past few weeks.
The post mortem is currently being carried out.
