Labasa police are investigating the discovery of a body in Raranikawai river at Qelemumu, Labasa, yesterday afternoon.
Assistant Police spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita said the body was discovered by a 27 year old of Qelemumu settlement who was working on his farm.
He later informed the police about the body and police are appealing to members of the police for information.
Investigations continue.
