Two people are being interrogated by the CID officers in relation to the gruesome discovery of two bodies packed in a suitcase in Benai, Ba on Saturday night.

Ba Police had confirmed that the two bodies were left in a pit toilet.

Police are treating the case as murder.

Officers from the CID Headquarters and Transnational Crime Unit are investigating the death of the two Indian nationals.

The two dead are 31 year old Rajamanikam Venkatachalam and 40 year old Ram Krishnan Amrithalingam.

Both were directors of a scrap metal company in Nakasi.

A report of them missing was lodged on 18th December last year at the Nakasi Police station by one of their friends residing in Davuilevu Housing.

They were reported missing since 14th of December 2009 and were last seen leaving for the Western Division.

The two were residing at Willow Street, Nakasi. A Post Mortem is expected to be conducted today.
