The Blues and New Zealand Rugby Union have lost patience with Coach Pat Lam as they will advertise his position later this week.

Lam was offered a new contract but he is yet to sign it.

The New Zealand Rugby Union said it has to look to the future and will advertise his position.

The Super Rugby site said it is not clear yet whether the Blues have sacked Coach Pat Lam and whether he will stay on until the end of the season.

The Blues will play the Lions at 7.35pm Friday.

The Blues have only won one game out of the ten they have played in the competition so far.
