The Blues held on to end a seven match losing streak by beating the Brumbies 16‑14 at Eden Park on Friday.
The Blues led 13‑nil at half time but the Brumbies scored 14 unanswered points in the second half and took the lead from the Blues before Ihaia West kicked a penalty in the 76th minute to win the match.
The Brumbies could have snatched the victory in the final minute but Nic White's penalty kick was short.
Blues captain Jerome Kaino said it's a great win as it has been a frustrating last six weeks not being able to get the win.
In tonights matches the Crusaders meet the Highlanders at 7.35pm, Waratahs face the Stormers at 9.40pm while the Force take on the Cheetahs at 11.40pm.
