New Zealand's Blues, Australia's Brumbies and South Africa's Lions have so far made a good start in the 2009 Super 14 competition.

The Blues under new Coach Pat Lam put on four unanswered tries in an inspiring 22-minute period to post a gutsy 25-19 bonus point victory over the Western Force in Perth last night.

The Brumbies which also has new coach in a name of Andy Friend defeated the Highlanders 33-31 while South Africa's Lions this morning beat Cheetahs 34-28.

In today's Super 14 games, the Crusaders plays the Chiefs at 4:30pm and the Hurricanes hosts the Waratahs at 6:35pm.

Early tomorrow morning the Stormers take on the Sharks at 3 and at 5:10am the Bulls meets the Reds in Pretoria.
