The blood shortage in the Western Division still remains even though the blood drive over the weekend in Lautoka was a success.
Manager Blood Services Western, Jainesh Narayan said they collected 97 pints of blood on Saturday and more blood drives will be conducted later this month.
Narayan adds a similar blood drive will be conducted in the Central and Northern Divisions.
