The Blood Bank Services staff has given their full support to assist in the CWM hospital facilities if the nurses go on strike.

Blood Bank Coordinator, Seru Rokosuka said although they have only two nurses in their department they will not be affected.

Rokosuka said the impending strike, to begin at midnight tomorrow, is a non-issue and adds that they will still ensure that there is enough blood in the hospitals.

Blood Bank Services have 5 staff who recruits voluntary donors and more than 100 lab technicians are prepared to work when nurses go on strike.
