Crusaders Coach Todd Blackadder does not want to give Richie McCaw a lot of pressure and that’s why the former All Blacks skipper will start from the bench in the super rugby semifinal tomorrow.

Blackadder said McCaw’s form might not be where it needs to be in tomorrow’s high intensity game because he is back from sabbatical.

Speaking to TVNZ, Blackadder added they don’t want a repeat of last year’s semifinal loss on the same venue.

The Crusaders have not won a game in Hamilton for the past two years.

Chief’s halfback Tawera Kerr Barlow said everything will matter on game day.

The Chiefs will host the Crusaders at 7.35pm tonight in the first semifinal while the Bulls face the Brumbies at 3am tomorrow in the second semifinal.
