Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder may be tempted to rush Fijian wing Nemani Nadolo back after the Crusaders backline failed to deliver when under pressure in their match against the Rebels over the weekend.

Blackadder is now considering several crucial changes in the side before their next match against the Highlanders.

He may shift Colin Slade to first-five while All Blacks fullback Israel Dagg is expected to return from his extended offseason break.

The Crusaders medical staff is expected to reexamine Dan Carter’s lower right leg today.

Carter injured his leg during last Friday night’s 20-10 loss to the Rebels at AMI Stadium.

This week will see the Chiefs take on the Brumbies at 6.35pm Friday while the Rebels will meet the Waratahs at 8.40pm.

On Saturday, the Bulls will clash with the Hurricanes at 5.10am, the Highlanders and the Crusaders will meet at 6.35pm, the Reds will take Western Force at 8.40pm, the Stormers will face the Blues at 3.05am while the Sharks will take on the Lions at 5.10am.
