Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop believes Fiji is capable of holding one day election.
Bishop said there will be a lot of challenges for Fiji as they will be holding one day election for the first time ever.
Bishop said she is confident that Fiji will hold free and fair elections.
Meanwhile New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray McCully said they have also welcomed significant progress made by Fiji since they last visited in April last year including important and significant efforts to prepare for elections by 30th September 2014.
