The Prices and Incomes Board has announced that effective from tomorrow, the retail and wholesale prices of Biscuits (Cabin Crackers and Breakfast Crackers) will increase due to increases in flour prices.
Wheat prices also increased recently.
The retail price of 17kg Cabin crackers will increase from $41.56 to $44.39. The 5kg tin of biscuit will now cost $18.34 from $17.92. The price of 185g packets will now cost 55cents from 53cents.
The price of 17kg tin of biscuit will now cost $48.11 from $45.56. The price of 5kg plastic pail has gone up by 37cents. It will now cost $19.05 from $18.68.
A 375g breakfast crackers will cost $1.09 from $1.05.
The Prices and Incomes Board has requested consumers who need further clarifications to contact any of the PIB offices.
