The Minister for Agriculture and Primary Industries, Joketani Cokanasiga said with the launching of the new logo of the Biosecurity Authority of Fiji Islands will remind people of their responsibility towards maintaining our waters free from any disease or any type of virus that come into the country.
Cokanasiga explained briefly on the importance of protecting our environment during the launch last night at Holiday Inn.
The introduction of the Biosecurity Authority came about after the review on the Quarantine and Inspection Division in 2005.
The new entity is now called BAFI.
