Biggest tradeshow with humble beginning
Organisers, Total Event Company managing director, Lorretta Jackson said over the years demand for a huge shopping experience has seen the event grow.
The first Showcase back in 1986 was known as "Home and Leisure" which used to be held at the Suva Civic Centre and is now so big that it is being held at the Vodafone Arena this year.
Jackson said that back in the day, there used to be only one entertainer but this year a whole range of international entertainers will bring alot of fun and entertainment.
The Fiji Showcase 2009 starts in 8 days time with a whole range of entertainers like the Great Gondos Show with Robetta and Repeater, the Magic Daredevil Comedy Show and great Escape and even Cookie the Clown returning.
The Fiji Showcase starts next Friday on the 5th of June at the Vodafone Arena.
