Having cancer does not mean that you will die as thirty percent of the cancer cases reported in Fiji can be prevented while seventy percent can be cured if detected early.

That is the sentiment of the President of the Fiji Cancer Society, Nirmala Nambiar while officially launching the Fiji's Biggest Morning Tea.

Nambiar reveals that an average of 450 new cases are reported a year while 460 people die each year. She said the challenge is to provide support.
