Biggest ever celebrations for Labasa’s IDC win
The Labasa soccer fans have gone crazy in the Northern Division and have promised they will be waiting in numbers at the Waiqele Airport when the prestigious Lloyd Farebrother Trophy touches down in Labasa.
Labasa soccer officials have confirmed that celebrations in Labasa is expected to take place next Saturday while they are also planning to hold a celebration in Suva this Thursday.
This is for all Labasa soccer fans who reside between the Suva and Nausori corridor.
Meanwhile, Labasa soccer coach, Gurjeet Singh said he wants to stay on with the Babasiga Lions.
Singh who had only joined the team two weeks before the Courts IDC said Labasa has the potential to continue winning tournaments and also provide talent for the National team.
Labasa's winning goal against Ba was scored by striker, Maciu Dunadamu in the second half of the match.
