The biggest block of voters registered for the 2014 general elections so far are people between the ages of 18 to 30 years.
As at April this year, the 18 to 30 years group has the total number of registered voters at 172 thousand 536 people.
This makes up 31 percent of the voters registered so far.
152 thousand 320 people between the 41 to 55 years have been registered as voters.
This is 27 percent of the total number of registered voters.
The third largest registered voter group is the people aged between 31 to 40 years.
123 thousand 390 people are registered in this group.
They make 22.2 percent of the total number of registered voters.
83 thousand 278 people between the age of 56 to 70 years have registered as voters while 22,749 people registered are between 71 to 90 years old.
The total number of people registered as at April stands at 554 thousand 566.
Looking at the registered voters by divisions -
230 thousand 318 people or 41 percent of the registered voters live in the Central division.
211 thousand 832 people or 38 percent of the voters are registered in the West.
Based on the April voter statistics, 79 percent of the registered voters live in the Central and Western divisions.
86 thousand 250 people or 15 percent have been registered in the North while 24 thousand 178 people have registered as voters in the Eastern division.
