The 38th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament is expected to be much bigger and better compared to the previous years.

Marist old Boys President Lawrence Tikaram said that competition will be much tougher this year as many of the local teams have registered their participation for the tournament.

$35,000 is at stake for the tournament with 64 men’s teams expected to battle for the top prize.

Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan who was the Chief Guest at the event has also confirmed that it is highly unlikely that a national team will feature in the tournament as players will be released to play for their respective clubs.

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be held on the 7th and 8th of March.
