Big showdown in athletics tonight
The men’s blue ribbon event will be the highlight as Pacific Sprint King Banuve Tabakaucoro will be up against Gospel High School’s Aaron Powell, Marist Brothers High School’s Simon Lilicama and Jone Pio of Nabua Secondary School.
The 100m women’s final will see Sisilia Seavula and Tamara Patrick of St Josephs Secondary School and Kaylor Yee of Yat Sen Secondary go up against each other.
The 100m finals will start at 6.30, the 400m will begin at 7 while the relay will be held at 8.30.
Looking at the netball results, Suva won gold after beating Nausori in the final while Korovou settle for bronze.
Meanwhile, Levuka currently leads the Fiji Games medal tally with 13 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze, second is Nadi with 6 Gold , 7 Silver and 6 Bronze, while Suva is third with 4 Gold , 5 Silver and 4 Bronze.
