Big names in Marist squad
Marist beat Suva Grammar in the Zone meet last year but the table turned around on them in the Coca Cola Games where they had to settle for the second spot.
In trying to maintain their rhythm from the inter-house to the Zone and the Coke Games, athletes like former Dudley High School Intermediate boys high jump gold and Pacific games silver medalist, Sikeli Waqa, Pacific Games 200 meters bronze medalist Sikeli Rokowaqa, former Suva Muslim College middle distance ace Zubair Dean and former Suva primary school champ Simon Lilicama are at Marist this year.
They will join season campaigners like Banuve Tabakaucoro and Roy Ravana and Ratu Tira Narara.
Reigning Coca Cola games 400meters champion and record holder Ratu Tira said they will try their best to do better than their past performances.
Sprint King, Banuve Tabakaucoro who recorded a time of 10.5 seconds in the heats is already keeping an eye on defending Coke Games boys division champions, Suva Grammar School.
Meanwhile, Lambert House has been crowned as the 2012 Marist inter-house winner with 5426 points beating last year's winner Alphonsus which finished in second place with 5414 points, Augustine was in 3rd place with 4896 points while Claudius is in fourth place with 4802 points.
