Senior Methodist Church pastor Reverend Viliame Daunabuna says people should beware of the kind of teaching and healing organised by some church denominations after the death of a 17-year-old boy over the weekend at the One World Church in Cunningham.
Reverend Daunabuna said there are two forms of healings which people should be careful of when dealing with some of the church groups.
He urged people to go to the hospital if they are sick as he recalls that four people from his community from Col-i-Suva were told by the same church group not to go to the hospital, and drink coconut oil prepared by the church healer, Marama Vada.
The One World Church healer in Cunningham known as Marama Vada, when asked why they never took the youth to hospital, said they believed divine intervention would be the best cure.
One World Healing Church Leader who is also a claimant of the Qaranivalu title, Ratu Loco Qiolevu said they are not doing anything wrong.
