People have been called to take extra precaution during this season as an influenza virus is around.
The Director Curative Health Services Dr Ami Chand said people are flocking to health centres and hospitals around the country complaining of headaches, body pains, running nose, cough, vomiting and fever.
Dr Ami said this influenza outbreak can get worse in the next few months as the cold season approaches.
