The government is now assessing the interests shown by various investors to get the multimillion dollar mahogany industry off the ground.
Speaking at the press conference after the announcement of the revised budget this morning, Attorney General and Minister for Public Enterprise Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum said they are looking at the best option to ensure Fiji mahogany is recognised around the world.
Sayed Khaiyum stressed the need to get the industry going, highlighting the huge financial losses incurred over the past years.
