With South Africa Sevens to kick off soon, Vodafone Fiji 7's coach Ben Ryan said this weekend's tournament is a chance to tighten their grip on Olympic qualification and open up a healthy lead on their rivals.

Going into Port Elizabeth, Fiji are two points clear of South Africa at the top, despite a disappointing third‑place finish in Dubai.

Ben Ryan said their defence needs some work but their attack is the best on the circuit and this weekend presents another opportunity.

Ryan did not make any changes to the side that played at the Dubai 7's last week.

Meanwhile World Rugby has lifted the embargo on the broadcast feed for the HSBC Sevens World Series which means all Fijians will again watch the South Africa 7's tonight with Fiji taking on France at 9.30pm.

They will then face Canada at 12.45am Sunday before meeting Scotland at 4.26am.

The cup quarter finals will start at 12.03am Monday, the semifinals will be held at 3.39am while the cup final will be played at 6.30am Monday.
