Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan said he will select the best players available to be contracted under the Fiji Rugby Union for the IRB world 7s series.
This comes after FRU announced the payout structure for players that will be contracted.
Ryan said that players will be monitored and will have to meet certain fitness level to meet the selection criteria.
Fijivillage understands that 20 players will be contracted and some of them include Osea Kolinisau, Viliame Mata, Vatemo Ravouvou, Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu, Pio Tuwai and Semi Kunatani.
Meanwhile the Vodafone 7s contracted squad is expected to be announced next week for the first World 7s series tournament in Gold Coast, Australia in October.
