Police have issued a bench warrant for the man who claimed that he was sodomised by soldiers few months ago.
He was charged with giving false information to a public servant following police investigations. He had also reported an incident of a similar nature few years ago.
It is alleged that on 7th April, this man lodged a report with the police that he was kidnapped and was sodomised by a group of soldiers.
His case was called in the Magistrates Court this morning, however he failed to appear in court.
A bench warrant has been issued and will be produced in court once his arrested.
