FRU Acting CEO Dr Berlin Kafoa said they met with the Sports Commission today.
Fiji Sports Commission Chairman, Peter Mazey said there a few things to be done before they officially sign of everything.
Mazey earlier said that Ryan’s package includes his accommodation and insurance.
The FRU clarified this week that Ryan volunteered for three months after being appointed due to the financial situation of the FRU.
Ryan has officially signed his FRU contract which is until 2016.
Last year the FRU applied for funding under the “Engagement of Overseas Coaches Program” where government allocated $2 million for this year.
The program will enable local sporting bodies to recruit international coaches to help develop Fijian athletes and improve Fiji’s international and regional rankings.
Meanwhile, Ben Ryan has named a 17 member team to prepare for the USA and New Zealand 7s.
A notable exclusion from the team is former Red Rock captain Jasa Veremalua while Pio Tuwai is included in the team despite missing from the camp this week due to personal commitments.
The team includes Apisai Domolailai, Benito Masilevu, Donasio Ratubuli, Emosi Mulevoro, Henry Seniloli, Viliame Mata, Jona Tuitoga, Leo Naikasau, Lepani Botia, Marika Vunibaka, Mosese Mawalu, Osea Kolinisau, Pio Tuwai, Samisoni Viriviri, Samuela Saqiwa, Semi Kunatani and Vucago Banitabua.
The final 12 member team will be named next Thursday.
