Team Fiji Mens Rugby coach, Ben Ryan says he always wanted to go to Rio as the number one team saying that if they were going in below that rank, it would be obvious that they have not won world titles going into the Olympics 7s competition.

Ryan says he welcomes the added pressure.

He adds some players like Samisoni Viriviri and Viliame Mata gained their personal best in the fitness test earlier in the week.

Ryan says the team flies out on Tuesday to Chile and they will have a 8 day camp there before heading to Rio, saying all the facilities have been set up there and they will have a good final camp at altitude for the team.

The team will have a training session on Beqa Island at 9am tomorrow you can check out the live video coverage of the training session in Raviravi village tomorrow on our facebook page, fijivillage.com.

In the afternoon they will break camp and return Sunday evening.

They will then have training sessions on Monday before departing.

Fiji will take on Brazil in their first Rio Olympics pool game at 4.30am on August 10th, they will then face Argentina at 9.30am before taking on USA at 4.30am on August 11th.
