With less than two hours away from the Digicel Fiji sevens team's first game, coach Ben Ryan is still yet to select his best team.

Yesterday Ryan named his run on side against Canada but he is weighing his options before the first game and he can make some changes if it is needed.

The starting seven that Ryan named yesterday includes Ulaiasi Lawavou, Manueli Laqai and Samuela Saqiwa in the forwards while
Waisea Nacuqu, Ilai Tinai, Osea Kolinisau and Samisoni Viriviri will make up the line.

Speaking from Gold Coast to Fijivillage this morning, Ryan said Vucago Banitabua, Westfield Barbarians playmaker Waisea Nacuqu and speedster Benito Eremasi can all play at half back but he will make the final decision.

Ryan added the game against Canada is the one that matters for him as this will be his first match in his new role.

Meanwhile, captain Osea Kolinisau is confident that the side can deliver despite losing to Samoa in the Oceania 7s final last week.

The Gold Coast 7s kick off in the next 30 minutes and Fiji's first pool match is against Canada at 1.58pm.

Fiji's second match is against Portugal at 5.14pm and the last pool match will be against Wales at 9.24pm.

The Cup quarter finals start at 1.58pm tomorrow, Cup semis kick off at 5.58pm and the Cup final will be played at 9.04pm.
