Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has announced a strong 12 member team for the New Zealand and Las Vegas 7s.
Ryan has made five changes to the team that featured in Dubai and South Africa 7s.
Returning after months of injury are playmaker Emosi Mulevoro and prop Jasa Veremalua while Manueli Laqai, Sitiveni Waqa and Viliame Mata have made their come back after missing out the last three tournaments.
Also forcing his way into the side is speedster Samisoni Viriviri.
Ryan believes this team has pace and power to go up against core teams such as host New Zealand, World Sevens Series points leaders South Africa and Australia.
Captain Osea Kolinisau says they have been working on a number of areas which affected them in the last two tournaments.
Meanwhile, 2014 IRB Sevens Player of the Year Samisoni Viriviri says being named in the final 12 member team was not an easy task for him.
The team includes Isake Katonibau, Jasa Veremalua, Manueli Laqai, Captain Osea Kolinisau, Samisoni Viriviri, Savenaca Rawaca, Semi Kunatani, Jerry Tuwai, Sitiveni Waqa, Vatemo Ravouvou, Emosi Mulevoro and Viliame Mata.
The players will go home today before they meet again on Sunday afternoon.
The national side will fly out to New Zealand next Monday morning.
The New Zealand 7s will be held next Friday and Saturday.
Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales and Portugal.
