Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach Ben Ryan has revealed that changes will only occur if there are injury concerns in the team.

Ryan said they are yet to assess the players.

Fijivillage understands that players who might be carrying injuries include Samisoni Viriviri, Apisai Domolailai, Donasio Ratubuli and Benito Masilevu.

Ryan confirms that Joeli Lutumailagi, Semi Kunatani and Samu Saqiwa are on standby as the trio flew out of the country this morning to take part in the Hong Kong 10's tournament.

Meanwhile, history will be created if the Vodafone Fiji 7s team defends their title in Hong Kong this weekend.

A win for Fiji will see them repeat their three year back to back victory and also become the first team to win back to back title in one leg of the IRB World 7s Series.

The Hong Kong 7s kicks off this Friday with Fiji taking on Wales in their first pool match at 1.26am Saturday, they will then meet Sri Lanka at 5.24pm Saturday and then take on Kenya in their last pool match at 11.16pm.

The cup quarterfinals will start 3.28pm on Sunday, Cup semis starts at 7.52pm and the Cup final will be played at 10.25pm.
