The Former Leader of the Opposition, Mick Beddoes has called for the Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum to resign after he made a mistake in appointing Adi Koila Nailatikau as Chairperson of the Constituency Boundaries Commission.
According to Beddoes, the mistake has caused a lot of embarrassment for the interim administration and the President's Office.
SDL National Director, Peceli Kinivuwai also said that Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has made a serious blunder and he should to do the honorable thing and resign.
However Sayed-Khaiyum said the problem has been rectified and the matter should rest here.
Some NGO's have also called for the Interim Attorney General to resign.
Shameema Ali and Angie Heffernan say Sayed-Khaiyum should step down from his post as soon as possible.
