Beddoes Wants Wider Investigation
In a letter to the station officer Sabeto Police Post, Beddoes has lodged a complaint for alleged offences of treason, taking an unlawful oath, aiding and abetting and being benefactors of treason by the Interim Prime Minister and other Interim Cabinet Ministers who were sworn in after December 5th, 2006.
Amongst those who have been asked to be investigated by Beddoes are Commodore Esala Teleni, Brigadier Iowane Naivalurua, Colonel Pita Driti, Colonel Tevita Uluilakeba Mara, Colonel Apakuki Kurusiga, Colonel Samu Saumatua, Colonel Mohammed Aziz, Colonel Mason Smith, Commander Francis Kean, Colonel Paul Manueli and Colonel Inosi Tawakedrau.
The complaint has also been lodged against all interim ministers and NCBBF members including Archbishop Petero Mataca and John Samy.
Divisional Police Commander SSP Fesaitu Kava has confirmed receiving the complaint and said that the matter has been referred to the CID Headquarters in Suva.
